The two are related to each other by blood. Khwaja Gharib Nawaz and Hazrat Ghous Pak are maternal cousins. One more relation is that Hazrat Shaikh Mohiuddin Abdul Qadar Jilani (Ghousul Azam) is a maternal uncle of Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz (R.A.). Hazrat Shaikh Mohiuddin Abdul Qadar Jilani is the grandson of Hazrat Abdulla al Hambli. On the other side, the mother of Hazrat Khwaja Sahib, Hazrat Bibi Mahey Noor, is the grand daughter of Hazrat Abdulla-al-Hambli.Thus, the mother of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hassan Chishty(R.A) is a cousin of Hazrat Ghous Pak (R.A.)

BIRTH & EARLY LIFE :

Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishty was born (536 A-H.) at Chisht in Sistan, which was also known as; Sajistan, East Persia, the peace of Muslim world was horribly disturbed. Sistan and its surrounding lands were experiencing unprecedented bloodshed and plunder at the hands of barbarous Tartars and other rebels. These intruders had taken advantage of the weak government of Sultan Sanjar, an account of which has appeared in the preceding pages. The life and honour of the people were in constant danger. The wild Tartars had completely destroyed the flower of the Muslim nation. They outraged humanity practically in all the centres of the 600-year old Muslim civilisation and culture.

Migration and life in Neshapur:

Due to these intermittent political disturbances in Sistan,Hazrat Khwaja Ghiyasuddin Hasan(father of Khwaja sahab), one day decided to pack up and leave Sistan for a safer place. He migrated with his family to Neshapur, the Capital city, which was one of the most flourishing cities in those days. It was a great centre of intellectual and economic activities and possessed the famous "Nizamia" university with a precious library that contained a rare collection of Oriental literature. There lived learned Ulema and reputed Sufis who imparted knowledge in moral and spiritual enlightenment to scholars drawn from far and near. There lived physicians and artists of rare qualifications. There were rich gardens and canals with flourishing agricultural fields. One of the suburbs was called Rewand which was famous for its grape orchards. It is recorded that Hazrat Khwaja Ghyasuddin Hasan(R.A) bought an orchard with a windmill in this vicinity to settle down for a peaceful life.

No peace of mind: "Man proposes but God disposes".

The peace in search of which Hazrat Khwaja Ghiyasuddin Hasan(R.A) had migrated to Neshapur was not to be had even in this great city. Here too the people were hanging in a terrible suspense between life and death. The brave Sultan Sanjar had been fighting the Tartars at the borders to check them for along time without Success. Due to his prolonged absence from the capital his administrative machinery was showing signs of disintegration. Internally, the Fidayees of the 'Qarmti and 'Baatini' sects (one of whose members had already murdered the able Wazeer Nizamul Mulk) had also come out of their hide-outs and were roaming about the country unabated, spreading wild fire of rebellion all round. These armed hordes were busy in wholesale plunder and massacre of the innocent people.
These awe-inspiring events had a very deep impression on the mind of the Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishty(R.A) who was watching the whole barbarous drama objectively at his impressionable young age.

The 'Qarmti' and 'Baatani' intriguers had carried centuries' old grudge against the Hanafi Muslims who held both temporal and spiritual powers in succession for more than 500 years after the Holy Prophet (S.A.W). Although it was an age-old grudge but, as Islamic history shows, they utterly failed in all their designs to destory their rivals. Islam has survived many vicissitudes of history and Quran has promised its survival up to the last Day-of-Judgment.

Demise of parents:
Gharib Nawaz again saw all this ghastly drama at his early age. But this was not all for him. Just at this time he lost his dear father (551 A-H.) and the worst part of it was that he had already lost his dear mother too. Khwaja Sahab, was now left all alone to look after himself in a world full of hate, murder and greed. Although, by virtue of legacy, he had enough material resources to sustain himself in his traditional standard of life, but the sack of Neshapur coupled with the death of his dear parents plunged him into deep thinking. At times he was overwhelmed with grief and saw a very vague picture of this terrible world though he bore it out with courage and exemplary forbearance. He was a hardworking youth and looked after his orchard personally, trimming and watering the plants with his own hands.

Yet another sack:
Hardly a year had passed after the sad death of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin's father, when the mischievous Tartars once more ransacked Khorasan and repeated the same bloody drama of murder, arson and loot. This time Sultan Mahmood, one of the brothers of Sultan Sanjar, came forward to check the invaders but he too failed to rout them. Neshapur was again the scene of the same ghastly tragedies which our pen shivers to describe. And once more Khwaja sahab was overwhelmingly dismayed to see these scenes of terrible devastation. He often plunged himself into deeper thoughts about these ugly events in order to try to come to some definite conclusion about his own future course of life. The thought of helping the helpless humanity against all such persistent pillage always tormented his tender heart. Yet he could not come to any definite conclusion.

Destined for a Sacred Mission:
As helpless human beings, we can never understand the will of the Almighty God. Should we surmise that by exhibiting these tragedies perhaps God Almighty meant to show Khwaja sahab the sins of this wretched world in order to prepare him for a mighty divine mission of reform and peace for the mankind? As it will be seen later on, the Almighty did mean this for which He enlightened the mind of the young Khwaja sahab quite unexpectedly. How he was equipped providentially for this great and sacred mission, and what a wonderful role he was destined to play in India, will be seen in the following pages. Whenever injustice, oppression and greed reigned supreme in this world. God has always been merciful to mankind by sending His saviours to fight the Satanic forces and put the people on the path of righteousness and mutual love.

Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishty (R.A) used to ponder, for hours together, over the ugly scenes of the ghastly massacre in Khorasan which he had been witnessing with great pain for several years ever since his younger days. With these tragic impressions, his interest in worldly life and pleasures was diminishing fast. Inwardly he was very much worried and longed to be away from such a mad world if he could manage to see a way out

Every-day no where in the world at any Astana such a large number of functions and ceremonies is performed as at the Holy Astana of Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz and that too, in a highly traditional way and strictly in accordance with the Chishtia precepts.
These spiritual programmes are the source of earning, the blessings, pleasure and confidence of the Holy Saint and have proved beneficial for attainment of high spiritual ecstasy and bliss.

Though these functions are performed by Khadims, yet, they have been attended by devotees for their own benefit. Therefore, devotees in large number attend these functions and receive the blessings of the Holy Khwaja and feel enlightened.
If these functions are attended with piety and devotion all the prayers which are made at those timings are sure to be granted.

The detailed description of these functions is given below.
The daily functions and ceremonies which are observed round the clock with great punctually of time begin from early in the morning and continue till late in the evening, are as under :

About an hour before the 'Salat' of Fajar, Khadims of Khwaja Sahib gather in Begami Dalan with great respect & devotion. This Dalan is towards the East of the tomb and in this Dalan is the main entrance of the Mazar. At the fixed appropriate time all the Khadims stand near the 'Door' entrance. The devotees also follow them and stand with them in a highly honoured manner. One of the Khadims recites 'AZAN', As soon as the Azan ends, the Kalid Bardar opens the lock and then the door. Through this entrance the Khadis enter into the tomb and stand in between the main entrance and a small door which is still closed. Before opening this small door the Kalid Bardar sends Darood and Salam to the Holy Prophet and his descendants and to Huzoor Gharib Nawaz. After this the small door is opended and Khadims enter into the tomb.
After entering into the tomb, they make themselves ready for 'Khidmat'. Some of the stand round the first enceinte of the azar (Grave) some enter in between the space of two enceintes and some enter in between the space of the Holy Mazar and the second enceinte. Now, they remove the flowers and chadar from Mazar, clean the Mazar and its surroundings, offer new chadar and fresh flowers. As soon as this particular ceremony ends, the Khadims standing in between the two ancients and outside the second enceinte start cleaning the floor with 'Farasha' (it is an special dust remover made of Peacock feathers).
During this ceremony devotees are not permitted to enter the tomb. For them the southern door of the tomb is opened from where they are allowed to enter into the tomb and sit silently in the open space near the tomb of Hazrat Bibi Hafiza Jamal daughter of Khwaja Gharib Nawaz.
When the Khadis finish with the ceremony of Khidmat inside the tomb, then only the devotees are allowed to enter into to the tomb and perform Ziarat of the Mazaar.
This ceremony ends before the call of Azaan for Salat of Fajar. This time is important for offering prayers. Prayers made at this time are sure to be granted.

KHIDMAT AFTER THE ZOHAR PRAYER :

Daily after an hour of Zohar prayer generally at 3 P.M. another ceremony which is also known as Khidmat is performed. At this time, though the doors of the tomb are closed, yet, the southern door, though apparently remains closed, is used for entrance into the tomb.
At the time of this ceremony, devotees are permitted to enter the tomb, they are allowed to keep standing silently in between the space of the walls of the tomb and the enceinte of the Mazar.
At this time in presence of the devotees, after removal of the already presented flowers, chadar, sandal. Atar, Kewara and rose water is presented on the Holy grave.
Khadims who perform this ceremony offer prayers loudly for devotes, after the end of prayers fresh flowers are presented on the Mazar, if needed, the chadar is also changed, After that the floor of the tomb is cleaned in the traditional way.
Ladies are not permitted to enter the tomb during the entire period of this ceremony.

LIGHTNING OR DANKA :

Every day about 20 minutes before Maghrib prayer the ceremony of lighting is held. The way in which this ceremony is performed is that some Khadis bring candles (specially prepared for this purpose) in their hands fro a Hujra (cell or room) near Choti Deg. As soon as from Choti Deg they start moving towards the Holy Tomb drums are beaten.
All the people present in Dargah premises start gathering inside the tomb, those who can not enter the tomb stand outside on either side of the main-entrance in the Begami Dalan.

At this time too, ladies are not permitted to enter into the tomb.
Khadims after touching the candles with the heads of the devotees who keep standing on either side of the way reach inside the tombs with prayers of blessing for devotees on their lips. They place those candles in the lamps. The unlighted candles are now lighted. The lamps in which the candles are placed are four in number.

The Khadims hold those lamps in their hands and keep them above their heads. One of them recite some Persian verses in the glory of the Holy Saint. With the end of those verses the people dispurse and the lamps are placed in four corners of the Holy Tomb.
In the local language this ceremony is called 'Danka'.

KADKA :

This last ceremony of the day is popularly known as 'Kadka' and is performed in highly significant and traditional way. This is held after about 1 ½ hour of Isha prayer. After this ceremony the door of the main entrance into the Holy tomb is closed and locked.
According to the old tradition, about 20 minutes before closing the main entrance of the Holy Tomb, at a time when about one fifth part of the night had passed, a person loudly calls to ring five and with his voice the clock sounds five times. The Khadims ready to perform this function request the devotees to vacate the tomb, the devotees come out of the tomb and stand on either side of the entrance in a queue. The Khadims then close the other doors from inside and make a search inside the entire tomb to see that there is now no one inside the tomb. After that they start their usual service, at least three Khadis join in this service. They clean the surroundings of the azar in the same way as they do in the morning and evening Khidmat. They come out of the tomb one by one with the sand and dust of the floor kept in a fine cloth and keep the same in a shelf inside Sandal-Masjid.

When the third and the last Khadim comes out, a person duly appointed, again calls in a loud voice to ring six bells. The bell sounds six times. As soon as the voice of the sixth bell sounds, the Qawal, who stands there ready, start to sing a special song in some old Indian language which is called Kadka. As soon as the last verse of the Kadka is recited, the main entrance of the tomb is closed and locked. The Khadim on duty keeps the key with him and also keeps a watch round the tomb throughout the night.

It’s a complete recital of the Holy Quran which takes place
every day at Jama Masjid and Alamgir Masjid.

On every Thursday after Isha prayer Mehfil-e-Jumerat is organised inside Ahata-e-Noor opposite Begami Dalan. This program starts with 'Zikr' proceeded with Qawali and ends with Fateha. People in large number attend this programme. This programme continues till the main entrance of the tomb is closed.

The woman himself admitted her false allegation.

Khwaja Sahib (R.A) said, Only Allah can award honour and repute." And then he returned. Except Hazrat Khwaja Qutubuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki (R.A), all were much surprised on arrival and disappearance of Khwaja Sahib (R.A).

8. It is said that one day, one of his disciples came to him. Khwaja Sahib (R.A) was busy in offering prayers. When he finished his prayers and turned to the disciple the disciple said "huzoor the ruler of the city has ordered me to exile without any fault of mine. So I am in great trouble." Khwaja Sahib (R.A) kept silence for some time, then said, " Don’t worry he has been punished. "When the disciple returned to the city, he heard the news that the ruler fell from the back of the horse and has died.

9. One day, Khwaja Sahib (R.A) was sitting near Anna Sager, A shepherd with some calves passed by, He said to the shepherd, " Dear give me some milk. "The Shepherd took it as a joke and said " Baba, they are calves and do not give milk. Khwaja Sahib (R.A) smiled and pointed towards a female calf and said, "Brother, I will take her milk." When the shepherd laughed, Khwaja Sahib (R.A) insisted, "Just see". The shepherd was very much surprised when he saw that her udders had become large and were full of milk. So he milked the calf which was enough for 40 persons. Seeing it, the Shepherd fell into the feet of Khwaja Sahib (R.A) and became his disciple.

10. One day, Khwaja Sahib (R.A) was sitting among the disciples and preaching. Suddenly he saw something on his right side. He stood up as paying respect to somebody. It happened again and again as and when he glanced towards right side. When the assembly was over and people left away, one of his servants asked the reason as to why he had been standing up repeatedly on having a look at right side. Khwaja Sahib (R.A) said, "The Mazar of my Peer-o-Murshid is located in that direction. As I looked towards that direction, the Mazar came before my eyes, so I stood up to offer respect."

11. It was the assembly of the saints. Everyone of them agreed to show his miracles. Thus Khwaja Usman Harooni (R.A) turned his Musallah and took out some pieces of gold and gave them to a Durvesh and asked him to bring some sweets for all present their. Shaikh Ohuddin Kirmani (R.A) touched a piece of wood and it turned into gold.

When Khwaja Usman Harooni (R.A) insisted, Khwaja Gharib Nawaz (R.A) knew through Divine inspiration that one of the persons of the present assembly is hungry but could not tell others because of modesty . Thus Khwaja Sahib (R.A) took out four barley Rotis and put them before the person.

A NEW TURN IN LIFE

Since his early age, Khwaja Sahib(R.A.) was fond of the company of dervesh, sufis and faqirs and had a great respect for them. One day, as to routine when he was watering the plants, a Mazhoob arrived there. The Mazhoob was Sheikh Ibrahim Qundoozi (R.A.). When the young Khwaja Sahib saw the old man, he left his work and stepped forward and welcomed him. He kissed the hand of the oldman, took him to a tree and requested him to sit under its shadow. At that time Khwaja Sahib had nothing to offer him. It was the grape season and the bunch of grapes were there on the trees. He plucked a bunch of sweet and juicy grapes, offered him and then sat in front of him respectfully.

Ajmer in 1880

The God-loving Mazhoob liked his gesture and enjoyed few pieces of grapes with pleasure. The enlightened Mazhoob immediately recognised that the promising child was in search of truth. So he took out a piece of oil cake, crushed it under his teeth and put into the mouth of Khwaja Sahib. As he had a great respect and love for dervesh and faqirs, he swallowed it. And lo! all of a sudden, the entire world lost its importance and there was no barrier between him and the God. With swallowing of piece of oil cake, he was in spiritual world. When regained his consciousness, he found himself alone. Sheikh lbrahim Qundoozi (R.A.) had taken his way.
Though Sheikh Ibrahim Qundoozi left Khwaja Sahib alone, but it was unforgettable to him what he witnessed in the spritual world. He had a great desire to witness the same repeatedly. He tried his level best to have patience and restraint over himself but was unsuccessful. He could not control himself. He was now under great infiuence of love and passion and when his love for truth crossed its limits, the entire world became immaterial to him. Thus he sold his belongings, distributed the cash and his possessions among the poor and needy and set off in search of truth with a meagre maintenance.

 EDUCATION - Departure for Bokhara:

The immediate inspiration of the miraculous experience with Sheikh Ibrahim Qandozi was that Khwaja sahab renounced the world. He lost no time in selling away his orchard and the windmill along with all his other worldly belongings and distributed every pie of the sale proceeds among the poor and the needy. He then cut off all his ties with his dear and near ones bade them a last good-bye and left Neshapur for Bokhara, which was the seat of learning in those days in search of religious knowledge and moral education.
Khwaja Sahab, who had renounced the world in his early age, was seen walking, all alone, on the Neshapur-Bokhara highway, amidst jungle and animal life, without a friend, without a penny in the pocket and without any present or future hope of provision for his livelihood, resolutely determined to seek the Truth.

The ever growing discontentment of his earlier years, inspite of all his rich traditions and material possessions, had suddenly changed into a perfect contentment immediately after a divine vision received through the help of a great 'Mazhoob'. He seemed to be very happy with his apparently gloomy lot. At this stage, however, he did not know that one day he would be one of the greatest holy saints and 'Mujaheds' of his day in the history of Islam who would turn the tables of the evil world, who would apply the balm of solace and salvation to the wounds of the afflicted humanity and who would cause downfall of the pride and arrogance of the mightiest monarchs of his time to redeem the sufferings of the oppressed? Khwaja Sahab in a friendless world was playing in the hands of Destiny for an exceedingly grand mission and amazing career dedicated to the cause of peace and happiness of mankind.
Khwaja Sahab decided to go to Bokhara for his education because the famous oriental universities of Baghdad and Neshapur had suffered damage due to the ravages of continuous wars and plunder, but Bokhara had still some of the best educational institutions and the learned 'Ulama' of its time.
While in Bokhara, Khwaja Sahab received his education in all the oriental sciences and literature from many learned 'Ulema' of the day, prominent of whom was Maulana Hissamuddin Bokhari from whom he received his 'jubba' (cloak) and Dastaar-e-Fazilat' (turban of learning)-the two highest academical diplomas or "robes of learning" of that time.
At Samarqand:
Having completed his education at Bokhara,Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty(R.A) went to Samarqand which was also a great seat of learning in those days. There too he attended many leading institutions to perfect his knowledge in Theology, Philosophy and Grammar. The years of his education in Bokhara and Samarqand are reported to be between 1150 and 1160 A-D. or 552 and 561 AH

Life History Of HAZRAT SHAIKH SAYYID ABDUL QADIR JILANI (R,Z)

THE EARLY LIFE OF SULTANUL AWLIYA HAZRAT SHAIKH SAYYID ABDUL QADIR JILANI BLESSED BIRTH:

The birth of Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam was a great blessing to the Ummah. It was the arrival of Sultanul Awliya (King of the Awliya), which had been foretold for centuries before his birth. He was born on the eve of the 1st of Ramadaan 470 Hijri in the city of Jilan and was blessed to his mother at an age when women are usually unable to have children. Sayyida Ummul Khair Fathima was sixty years old when Sarkaar-e-Ghaus-e-Azam was born. This alone was one of the astonishing incidents related to the birth of the great saint. HIS PARENTS: He is a descendant of the Holy Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (Peace and Blessing be upon Him) from both his mother"s and father"s side. He is Hassani from his father and Hussaini from his mother. His father"s name was Sayyid Abu Saleh Moosa and his mother"s name was Sayyida Ummul Khair Fathima. MIRACULOUS EVENTS SURROUNDING HIS BLESSED BIRTH: There were various miraculous events which occurred at the birth of Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam. Hazrat Sayyiduna Shahabudeen Suharwardi quoted the following five miracles in his distinguished book, Manaqib-e-Ghausia: (1) On the eve of the birth of Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam, his father, Sayyid Abu Saleh, saw in his dream, the Beloved Rasool (Peace and Blessing be upon Him) who gave him the following glad tiding, “O Abu Saleh, Almighty Allah has blessed you with a pious son. He is my beloved and the beloved of Almighty Allah and he is the most exalted amongst the Awliya and Aqtaab.” (2) When he was born, he had the impression of the footprint of Rasoolullah (Peace and Blessing be upon Him) on his shoulder. This alone was the proof of his Wilaayat (Sainthood). (3) Almighty Allah gave glad tidings to his parents in their dream that their son would be the Sultanul Awliyah and those who oppose him would be mislead (Gumrah). (4) On the eve of his birth eleven hundred males were born in Jilan and every one of them became a Wali of Allah. (5) He was born on the eve of Ramadaan. During the entire month of Ramadaan he never drank milk after the time of Sehri and before the time of Iftar i.e. he kept fast from the day he was born. His blessed mother says that he would never cry for milk the entire day and would only take milk at the time of Iftar. VOICE FROM THE UNSEEN: Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam was not like other children who spent their time playing and fooling around. From a tender age, he spent his time in the remembrance of Almighty Allah. If he at any time intended to join the other children, then from the unseen a voice would be heard saying, “Come towards Me O blessed one.” At first, on hearing this voice, he would become afraid and go to his mother and sit on her lap. As the time passed, he became accustomed to this voice, and instead of going to his mother, he would abandon the thought of playing and occupy himself in the remembrance of Allah. ANGELS AT THE MADRASSAH: When Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam was four and a half years old, his mother enrolled him into a local Madrassah in Jilan. He remained in this Madrassah until the age of ten and during this period an amazing event occurred. Whenever Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam would enter the Madrassah he would see angels walking ahead of him saying, “Give way to the friend of Allah, give way to the friend of Allah.” It was then that he realized that he had been blessed with Wilaayat. DEMISE OF HIS GRANDFATHER: The father of Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam had passed away when he was very small and he was taken under the care of his illustrious grandfather Hazrat Abdullah Sauma’ee. After the demise of his grandfather, the responsibility of his education fell to his blessed mother. With patience, sincerity and dedication, she fulfilled this responsibility that she had been blessed with. Once, while Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam was about eighteen years old, he went out of his house for a stroll. He walked in the streets of Jilan and found an ox in front of him. He walked behind it for some time, then the animal turned around, and in the language of humans said, “You have not been created for this and you have not been commanded to do this.” On hearing this, he immediately returned home and explained this incident to his mother. He then requested permission to journey to Baghdad in order to complete his academic studies and seek more spiritual knowledge. His mother, who was now seventy-eight years old, without a second thought acceded to this noble request. HIS MOTHER"S ADVICE: In those days, people used to travel either by foot or by camel etc. and the roads passed through dense jungles and forests. There was always a danger of travellers being robbed and killed. Knowing all this, she still supported his request and wished him well with her Duas. She then said, “Your marhoom father left eighty dinars, from which I am giving forty dinars to you for your journey and forty dinars I will keep for your younger brother Sayyid Abu Ahmad Abdullah.”She took the forty dinars and sewed them under the arm of his coat. She once again made dua for him and on bidding him farewell gave him the following advice, “O my beloved son, let this advice which I am about to give you be an important part of your life. Always speak the truth and do not even think of lies.” Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam promised to follow this advice and then bid farewell to his blessed mother. He then joined a caravan which was on its way to Baghdad. In those days, people travelled in groups for the sake of safety. However, their journey took them into a vast forest where they were attacked by sixty robbers. The leader of this band was a very notorious bandit called Ahmad Badawi. The travellers did not have the means to defend themselves against the robbers and were forced to surrender their belongings and valuables to them. After looting the travellers, the robbers gathered all the loot and began to distribute it amongst themselves. While all this was happening, Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam was standing very calmly amongst the travellers. Regarding him as just a young boy, none of the robbers approached him, until one of them decided to do so. He went up to Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam and asked if he had anything valuable. Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam replied by saying that he had in his possession forty dinars. On hearing this, the robber laughed and walked away, thinking that he was lying. After some time another of the robbers asked him the same question and received the same answer. He too dismissed this statement of Ghaus-e-Paak as a joke. When the robbers had gathered, then both these robbers began to joke about the young boy who thought he had forty dinars. On hearing their discussion, their leader Ahmed Badawi asked them to bring this boy to him. When the great saint was brought before Ahmed Badawi, the latter asked whether he had any valuables in his possession, and the saint replied in the same way as before. When Ahmed Badawi heard this, he asked for the forty dinars. Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam calmly showed him where the dinars were hidden. On tearing open the coat of Ghaus-e-Paak, they found that there were really forty dinars sewn under the arm of the coat. On seeing this, Ahmed Badawi and his accomplices were taken aback. Ahmed Badawi then asked, “O young man, none of us knew that you had any money. Knowing we are bandits, why did you still tell us where the money was hidden?” The young Ghaus-e-Azam replied by saying, “When I had left on this journey, I had promised my elderly and pious mother that I would never lie. How then could I break this promise just for the sake of forty dinars?” On hearing this, Ahmed Badawi felt great shame and in tears he said, “O young boy, you are so loyal in your promise to your mother, shame on me, that for years I have been disloyal to my promise with my Creator Almighty Allah.” After saying these words, the bandit cried bitterly and then fell to the feet of Sarkaar-e-Ghaus-e-Azam and repented for his sins. When his accomplices saw this, then they too did likewise and repented sincerely from all their sins. They then returned all the belongings of the travellers and escorted them out of the jungle. It has been stated that the tauba (repentance) of these bandits was so sincere, that they were blessed with Wilaayat, through the sadqa of Sarkaar-e-Ghaus-e-Azam. ARRIVAL AT BAGHDAD: By the time Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam arrived at Baghdad Shareef, he had already spent the forty dinars given to him by his mother. He therefore began to spend his days in hunger and poverty. After a few days in Baghdad Shareef he enrolled for academic studies at the Jamia Nizamia. HARDSHIPS FACED DURING STUDIES: Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam faced many extreme hardships during his studies and he said, “When the hardships and difficulties would become unbearable, then I would lie on the road and continuously recite the verse from the Holy Quran, “Therefore, surely there is ease with hardship. Undoubtedly there is ease with hardship [94:5,6].” With the continuous recitation of this verse I used to find great tranquillity and peace.” After adjourning from classes, he used to wander into the jungles and forests of Baghdad where he used to spend the entire night in the Zikr of Almighty Allah. He did this regardless of the weather conditions or season. If he became tired and weak, he would rest for a while making the ground his bed and a boulder his pillow. During these nights of Zikr, he would wear a small turban and a thin cloak. If he became hungry, he used to go towards the river Euphrates and eat whatever vegetables he could find beside the river. He always said that he gained much pleasure in this way of life and it caused him to gain closeness to Almighty Allah. PATIENCE DURING A SEVERE DROUGHT: Once, while he was studying, the city of Baghdad experienced a severe drought. The conditions in Baghdad became so desperate that people became dependant on every grain that they could find. When there was no more grain, people began to eat plants and leaves from trees. During this time, Hazrat Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani used to also go out in search for food. But when he saw others in search of food, he would return to the city empty-handed, as he did not feel it appropriate to impose by disturbing others whom he thought needed food more than he did. Many days had passed by without him eating. Due to intense hunger, he was compelled to go out in search of food towards a market in Baghdad. As he entered the market, his hunger had made him so weak and tired, that be could not stand anymore. He saw a Masjid nearby and slowly dragged himself towards it. He entered the Masjid and sat against one of the walls of the Masjid to support his now tired and weak body. He sat there for a while. Then he saw a person enter the Masjid. The person sat in one corner and opened a parcel in which there was fried meat and bread, which he then began to eat. Hazrat Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani says, “The intensity of my hunger was so great that every time the person lifted a morsel of food to his mouth, my mouth would open uncontrollably with his and would wish that I also had something to eat.” When this continued happening, Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam turned to his nafs and said, “Do not be impatient. Have trust and faith in Almighty Allah.” After saying these words he did not feel this way anymore. After a little while, this person came to Huzoor Ghaus-e-Paak uninvited and offered him some food. He kindly declined, but the person insisted. Upon such insistence, Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam joined him in his meal. Whilst eating, the person asked Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam about himself. He explained to the person that he was from Jilan and that he was in Baghdad to attain knowledge. The person then said that he was also from Jilan and asked if he knew a person by the name of Abdul Qadir Jilani? Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam answered by saying, “My name is Abdul Qadir Jilani.” When the man heard this, with tears in his eyes, he stood before Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam and said, “Please forgive me for I have misused that which was given to me in trust.” He then said, “When I was leaving Jilan, I met an old woman, who gave me eight dirhams in trust that I should give it to her son, Abdul Qadir, who is studying in Baghdad. O Abdul Qadir! The food that I was eating was from the eight dirhams that your mother had given for you. I had been searching for you but could not find you and due to this, my stay in Baghdad was extended. This caused my money to run out and out of extreme hunger I used some of your money to purchase this food that we ate. O Abdul Qadir! It is not I that fed you, but it is you that fed me. Please forgive me for abusing that which was given to me in trust.” Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam with great gentleness and affection held the stranger to his heart and praised him for his honesty and his sincerity. He then gave the remainder of the food and a portion of the eight dirhams to the stranger and bid him farewell. This incident indicates in clear terms that Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam was concerned more with the needs of others than with those of his own. Notwithstanding his dire need in the circumstances, he remained sensitive to the plight of this stranger. This act of selflessness alone is a lesson in the behaviour that one should adopt. After all the hardships, Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam qualified from Jamia Nizamia, excelling in every subject that he studied. During this period, there was no Aalim present on the earth who was more knowledgeable and pious than Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam. THE SPIRITUAL STRIVING OF HAZRAT SHAIKH SAYYID ABDUL QADIR JILANI ATTAINMENT OF SPIRITUAL KNOWLEDGE: After completion of academic studies, Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam did not cease in his quest for in-depth spiritual knowledge. To quench this spiritual thirst, Almighty Allah presented him with the opportunity of coming under the guidance of Shaikh Hammaad bin Muslim Ad Dabbaas who was amongst the superior Mashaa’ikh of Baghdad. Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam states, that there came a time in Baghdad when there was abundance of fitna and fasaad (fighting and trouble). Since he did not want any part of this, he decided to leave Baghdad for a more peaceful environment. Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam says, “I made my intention to leave Baghdad due to the unsuitable conditions and was on my way out of Baghdad, when from the unseen, some great strength pushed me so hard, that I fell to the ground. Then from the unseen I heard a voice say, “Do not leave here. The creation of Allah will gain benefit via you.” On hearing this I said, “What do I have to do with the people? All I want is to protect my Deen (Imaan).” The voice then said, “No, it is of utmost importance for you to remain here. No harm will come to your Imaan.” I then immediately changed my mind and for the pleasure of Allah, I remained in Baghdad. The very next day as I was passing through a street, a man opened the door of his house and called to me. He said, “O Abdul Qadir, what did you ask from your Creator yesterday?” With these words and in great Jalaal, he closed the door of his house. I walked for some time and then realised that I had made a grave error, this person was a Wali, if not, he would have not known of what had happened the previous day. I went in search of his door, but was unsuccessful. After this, I would look for him wherever I went, until one day I saw him in a Majlis and from then on I stayed in his company. This personality was Sayyid Hammaad bin Muslim Ad Dabbaas.” ENDURANCE IN THE PATH OF ALLAH: By the year 496 A.H., Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam completed his academic and spiritual studies. Thereafter he engaged in Mujahida and Riyaazat (spiritual exercises and endeavours in the path of Allah) from 496 A.H. until 592 A.H., a period of 25 years. During these 25 years, he engrossed himself in such intense spiritual exercises that just by reading about them one can only but marvel at the dedication of this Great Saint. His sincerity and dedication in controlling his nafs took him swiftly to the levels of “Fana fir Rasool” and “Fana Fillah”. He was now totally drowned in the sea of love of Allah and His Beloved Rasool (Peace and Blessing be upon Him). He turned himself into a strong mountain of patience and firmness that could not be moved. The notable events that took place during this part of his life are numerous. If they are recorded, then this alone would fill volumes. To give us some appreciation of his spiritual condition during these 25 years, a few incidents are quoted hereunder. SUPPRESSING HIS NAFS: Once while delivering a lecture, Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam said, “For 25 years, I roamed the jungles of Iraq. For 40 years, I performed my Fajr Salaah with the Wudhu of Esha and for 15 years I used to stand on one foot until Fajr and complete (recitation of) the entire Qur’an. During this time, I sometimes spent between three and 40 days without eating even a morsel.” Shaikh Abul Mas’ood bin Abu Bakr Hareemi reports that Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam once said to him, “Year after year, I spent struggling with my nafs by putting myself through various strenuous and intense tests. For one year, I ate only vegetables and drank no water. The following year I only drank water and ate nothing and the year after that, I did not eat and drink for the entire year. There were times when I did not sleep a wink. During this time I used to put myself through various spiritual exercises. There were times when I would be so drowned in struggling against my nafs, that I used to roll on thorns until my entire body would be severely bruised and cut, and I would become unconscious. People would pick me up and take me to the Haakim. He would certify me dead. Thinking that I was dead, they would prepare for my ghusal and kaffan. When they used to place me on the bathing board to give me ghusl, I used to awake from this spiritual condition and walk away.” Once Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam stated, “During the early stages of my Mujahida I used to, on many occasions, be unaware of my own condition. I never used to even know where I was and how I got there. Once, in a village close to Baghdad, I entered into such a spiritual condition, which caused me to be totally unaware of my physical self. In this condition, I began to run. When I regained my normal senses, then only did I realize that I had been running for 12 days without stopping. I was amazed at what had happened to me. Then a woman passed by me and said, “You are Shaikh Abdul Qadir. You should not be astonished when something like this happens to you.” ENCOUNTERS WITH SHAITAAN: Sayyiduna Ghaus-e-Azam states that during his life he had encountered various attacks from Shaitaan and his partners. Through the assistance of Almighty Allah he was always victorious over Shaitaan. Almighty Allah always protected him from this even when his nafs would try and force him into certain desires. When the Shayateen would attempt with vigour to sway the great Ghaus, he would hear a voice saying, “O Abdul Qadir! Stand firm and challenge them, Our help is with you.” Huzoor Ghaus-e-Paak states that when he used to hear this, then he would stand firmly and challenge the Shayateen and become victorious over them. He says that at times the Shayateen would take daring and frightening forms and come towards him, and he would say in Jalaal, “La Howla walaa Quwatta Ilaa billaahil Aliyil Azeem” and firmly strike the face of the Shaytaan, who would then disappear.Once, Shaitaan came to him in a very ugly form, with a foul odour emanating from its cursed presence. Shaitaan said, “I am Iblees. You have exhausted my students and me in our attempts to mislead you. I would now like to become your servant.” On hearing this, Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam said, “O Cursed One! Leave here at once!” After this command Shaytaan still refused to leave. A hand came from the unseen and hit Shaitaan on his head with such force that it caused him to sink into the ground. Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam states, “Once Shaytaan came to me and in his hand he had balls of fire, which he threw towards me. While this was happening, a veiled person on a white horse appeared and gave a sword in my hand. The moment I took the sword in my hand, Shaytaan turned and ran away.” He further states, “Once, I saw Shaitaan again, but this time in a very sad state. I saw him sitting on the ground putting sand on his head. When he saw me he said, “O Abdul Qadir, you have made me very sad and disillusioned.” I then said, “O Cursed One! Go away! I am always asking for protection from you (in Allah).” On hearing this, he said, “These words hurt me even more.” He then spread enormous amounts of traps around me. I asked what this was and he said, “These are the traps and nets of this world in which we trap people like you.” After this, for one year, I gave thought to these traps of the world until I broke every one of them.” STEADFASTNESS ON SHARIAH: After gaining in-depth academic and spiritual knowledge, Hazrat Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani was not only the most pious and knowledgeable personality, but he was a guiding light to the misguided and a firm mountain when it came to speaking against that which was incorrect. He always said that even until Qiyaamah, none can change the Shariah. Any person who goes against the command of the Shariah is an evil person. His son, Shaikh Ziauddeen Abu Nasr Moosa states the following: “My father, Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani once told me that he was one day making Mujahida in the jungle when he began to feel very thirsty. Suddenly, a cloud appeared above him and drops of cold rainwater fell over him. He drank and quenched his thirst, as this was the Mercy of Allah. He said that after some time another cloud appeared over him giving out light so powerful that the ends of the sky became lit up with its brightness. He said that he then saw a figure in the cloud which said, “O Abdul Qadir! I am your Creator. I have made everything Halaal for you.” He said that when he heard this, he read the Ta’awooz and the light disappeared immediately and turned into darkness. A voice then said, “O Abdul Qadir! You have been saved because of your knowledge and piety otherwise I have misled many Mystics, with this trap.” Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam answered by saying, “Verily, it is the Grace of my Creator, which is with me and which has saved me from you.” I then asked my father how he had known that this was Shaitaan, and he replied, “His saying that he has made that which is Haraam, Halaal upon me, because Allah Ta’ala does not command wrong.” FIRMNESS ON HIS WORD: After this incident with Shaitaan, Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam continued his striving in the path of Allah with even more faith and piety. He would sit in an old tower on the outskirts of Baghdad where he would make Ibaadat and engross himself in the Zikr of Almighty Allah. Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam himself narrates this incident. He says, “While sitting in the tower outside Baghdad, I once entered into a deep spiritual condition in which I made a vow with Almighty Allah that I will not eat or drink anything unless somebody puts a morsel of food or a drop of water into my mouth with their own hands. After taking this oath, forty days had passed without me eating or drinking anything. After forty days, a stranger arrived with some curry and bread. He placed it in front of me and left. Due to intense hunger, my nafs wanted to have the food, but my soul stopped me and reminded me of my vow with Allah. Then, I heard a huge noise inside me saying, “I am hungry, I am hungry.” I paid no attention towards this as it was my nafs, and I continued making the Zikr of Almighty Allah. It was during this time that Shaikh Abu Sa’eed Makhzoomi was passing by me. With his spiritual strength, he heard the noise from inside my stomach. He came close to me and said, “O Abdul Qadir! What is this noise?” I replied, “This is the impatience of the nafs, otherwise the soul is satisfied.” He then said, “Come to my house,” and left. In my mind, I said that I would not go until I am made to do so. Just then Hazrat Khidr (Alaihis Salaam) arrived and said, “Stand up and go to the house of Abu Saeed Makhzoomi.” Thus, I stood up and went to the house of Shaikh Abu Sa’eed Makhzoomi and found him standing at the door of his house. On seeing me he said, “O Abdul Qadir! Was my saying not sufficient for you that Hazrat Khidr had to command you to come to my house?” Saying this, he then took me into his house and fed me with his own hands until I had eaten and drank enough.” May Allah grant us even an atom of the spiritual strength of Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam to fight against our nafs and to attain the Pleasure of Almighty Allah.

Durood-o-Salaam ki ek bahot he khaas Barkat jo kisi aur amal se nasib nahi hoti!

"Hazrat Shaykh Abdul Haq Muhaddis Dehalvi Rehmatullah Alaih Madina Tayyaba me rehte they. Har waqt subho sham Mawajeh Shareef Aaqa (SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam) ki Bargah me Haazri rehti, Deedar karte, Salat-o-Salam padhte aur waha Masjid-e-Nabavi me Dars-e-Hadees dete aur Akaabir Ulema Aapse Hadees padhte.

Hindustan me ab tak Ilm-e-Hadees riwaaz pazeer nahi hua tha aur puri Sar Zameen e Hind Ilmul Hadees ke Noor se khaali thi. Aaqa SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne Khwab me Irshad farmaya Shaykh Abdul Haq Muhaddis Dehalvi Rehmatullah Alaih ko: Abdul Haq Hindustan Hamare Ilm-e-Hadees ke Faiz se khaali hai. Ab tu Hindustan chala ja aur waha baithkar Markaz-e-Ilme Hadees khol aur Meri Hadees ko pure Hind ke atraf o aknaf tak pahuncha.

So Hindustan me hum tak, jis par jis tak bhi Sanad-e-Hadees aur Ilm-e-Hadees pahunchi uska tarika kisina kisi sabeel se Shaykh Abdul Haq Muhaddis Dehalvi ke zariye se pahuncha.

Shaykh Abdul Haq Muhaddis Dehalvi ko jab Hukm hua Aaqa SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ka ke Hindustan chala ja aur waha jaake Mere Ilm-e-Hadees ka Faiz duniya me faila de. To aapne arz kiya Ya RasoolAllah (SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam) mai Madina Pak se dur jaau, Hukm ki taamil karta hun, magar Yaha to har waqt Huzoor ka Dar-e-Anwar Dekhta hun, Jaali Mubarak Dekhta hun, jab udaas hota hun Huzoor ki Bargah me aata hun. Dur chala jaunga Hindustan to har waqt wahase aana nasib nahi hoga.

To Aaqa SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne farmaya: Abdul Haq Hindustan chala ja Hum tumhe bhej rahe hain, Yaha tum Meri Jaali aur Mazaar ki Ziyarat karte hona? Ab tumhe ye Faiz deke bhejta hun ke har Peer ki raat ko Durood-o-Salaam ki kasrat ke saath Wird karke Muraqba kiya karna, us raat Hum tumhe barahe raast Apni Kachehri me bula liya karenge!
Yaha Jaali Mubarak ka Deedar karte ho waha tumhe hafte me ek raat Apni Kachehri me bulake Apna Deedar diya karenge, yaani Bedaari ki haalat me Deedar hoga!

Hazrat Shaykh Muhaddis Dehalvi Rehmatullah Alaih Hindustan aaye aur har Peer ki raat Aaqa SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ki Kachehri me jaate they.

Aur kuch Bade Aulia Allah aiss bhi hue jaise Hazrat Shaykh Sayyed Ahmed ar Rifayi RadiAllahu Anhu, jab Aaqa SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ki Bargah me pahunche, to Aaqa unse yun khush they ke jab Durood e Pak padhke Salam arz kiya Ya RasoolAllah Ya Jaddi, Ya Sayyedi, Ya Maulayi, Aap par Salam. To Andar Kabr-e-Aqdas se Aaqa SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne Dast-e-Mubarak (Haath Mubarak) nikaala aur farmaya Rifayi Tujhpar Salaam ho aur aapne Dast-e-Mubarak se Musafa kiya!

Bahot Aulia Allah jo Durood-o-Salaam ki Nisbat se Bargah-e-Mustafa me intehayi Qurb paa chuke they, jab Rauza-e-Rasool pe jaate kasrat ke waqiyat hue ke Salam kiya to Andar se Jawab aaya aur saikdo hazaro haazreen ne Aaqa SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ka Jawab suna!

Zindagi ka wazeefa banaye, Safa-e-Qalb (dilki safayi) aur Muhabbat aur Adab ke saath, khamoshi aur Adab ke saath Aaqa SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ki Bargah me dhyan karke, khushu aur khuzu se aur kamil himmat aur tawajjoh ko kaayam karke, dilki tawajjoh ko yaksu (concentrate) karke, aankhe band karke Aaqa SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ki Bargah me Durood-o-Salaam padho! Ye Aadab bhi hain aur Ye Iski Barakaat hain aur umr bhar is wazife ko kaayam rakhen ke jo Barkaten aur Qurbaten aur Aaqa SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ki Bargah ke saath Nisbaten is Durood-o-Salaam se Nasib hongi wo kisi aur amal ke zariye nasib nahi hotin!"

Islamic Speechs

1. Jo log kehte hain Meraj kaise mumkin hai, unko Allah Ta'ala ka Jawab!

"Jab Abu Jahal, Abu Lahab, munkireen-e-Makka, motarazeen-e-Meraj, munkireen-e-Meraj, dushmanan-e-Mustafa, Shehr-e-Makka me shor machane lag ke Meraj kaise mumkin hai, Rabb-e-Kainat ne Aayat utaari, kaha: khabardar! Khamosh hoke Meri baat suno, Allah ne kaha! Farmaya: "Subhanallazi Asra Be Abdihi Lailam..." "Paak Hai Wo Zaat Jo Apne Bande ko LEGAYI!" Allah Ta'ala ne kaha khabardar! Ye dawa Mustafa ne nahi kiya, Dawa Khuda ne kiya hai! Mere Mehboob pe tanqeed karke shor machane waalo, Mere Mehboob ne to Daawa kiya he nahi! Mere Mehboob ne to Apni taraf se koi daawa kiya he nahi, to Mere Mehboob pe zubaane kyu khol li hain? Mere Mehboob pe kyu etaraz karte ho, chup karo! Farmaya Mujhe to maante ho? Farmaya maante hain. Mushrikana tareek par he sahi, galat tarike se he sahi magar Allah ko to sab maante they. Sirf unka tarika mushrikana tha, galat tha. To farmaya Agar Meraj ka Daawa Mustafa karta ke Mai Meraj pe gaya, to tum jaake Mere Mustafa se puchte, haq tha! Ab Daawa suno khabardar koi Mustafa ke Darwaze par na jaaye puchne keliye, Daawa khud Maine kiya hai ke "Paak Hai Wo Zaat JO LEGAYI", Mustafa ne nahi kaha ke Mai gaya, Mai keh raha hun ke Mai Legaya!

To ek hota hai khud aana, kisi mehfil me, kisi jagah khud jaana, aur ek hota hai bulaya jana aur teesra hai lejaya jaana. Mustafa Khud nahi gaye, Mustafa Bulaye nahi gaye, Mustafa Lejaaye gaye! Mustafa ko lejaya gaya! Aur lejaane ki jab baat aayi Apni Bargah se Sawari bheji, sabse bada Numainda bheja, aur fir baadme Khabar release hoti haina, jaise press release nahi hoti, khabar jaari hoti hai. To Quran Allah ki Khabar deta hai. Jab Khabar jaari hui " Subhanallazi Asra Be Abdihi Lailam...", dekh rahe they Farishte ke khabar me hoga ke Jibrael ko bheja Mustafa ko le aayen, Burraq ki sawari bheji ke le aayen. Jab Khuda ki Bargah se Quran ki Khabar release hui to LEJAANE me na Jibarel ka Naam na Burraq ka Naam, wahan likha hai hai ke Paak hai Khuda ki Zaat Jo Khud Legayi!

To jo nadan log ye kehke Meraj ka inkar karte hain ke kaise mumkin hai, ya Meraj ko Khwab ka waqiya kehdete hain, nadano Khud Allah kehraha hai ke Mai Mere Mustafa ko Legaya! Kya tum Allah ki Zaat ko is kabil nahi samjhte? ya tum Allah se bade hogaye jo kehte ho ke mumkin nahi ya khwab ka waqiya hai?"

"Insan ki tarakki ke har goshe ko Sahib-e-Laulaak Fakhr-e-Mojudaat Huzoor Rehmat-e-Aalam SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ka Faiz hai. Aur Aaqa SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ke Zamana-e-Nabuwwat me aql-e-insani ne kurra-e-arzi par muheet fiza ke gilaaf ko aboor karte hue Chaand par pahunchkar Mojza-e-Meraj un Nabi SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ke Imkaan (possibility) ki nishandahi kardi!!"

3. Sirf 3 Din ka Khana Kurban karne par Allah Ta'ala ki Ata: Ye hai Ahle Bayt ka Muqaam: Imaan Afroz Waqiya

"Imam Wahidi jo Ahle Sunnat me Asbab un Nuzool aur Usool-e-Tafseer par Imam tasawwur hote hain. Imam Wahidi ne riwayat kiya aur isko Imam Fakhruddin Raazi ne bhi aage riwayat kiya aur bahot saari tafseeron me ye aaya hai Tafseer al Mazari Qazi Sanaullah Panipati tak sabne liya hai.
[Raazi, Tafseer al-Kabeer, Volume 30, Page 243] Isme waqiya ye hai ke Sayyeduna Imam Hasan wa Sayyeduna Imam Hussain (Alaihi-mussalam) Dono bimaar hogaye. Aaqa SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam Ghar tashreef legaye. Aur Aapne farmaya ke Inke liye Nazar karo (Mannat Maano). To Sayyeduna Ali al-Murtaza KarramAllahu Wajhahul Kareem ne, Sayyeda Fatima tuz-Zahra Salamullahi Alaiha ne aur Aapki Khadima Hazrat Fizza RadiAllahu Anha ne mannat maan li ke agar Hasanain Kareemain Shifayaab hogaye to 3 Roze rakhenge. Sayyeduna Ali al-Murtaza ne Khayber ke ek yahudi sham-un ya sam-un dono naam aaye hain kutub me, usse kuch karza liya ya kuch kaam karke ujrat ke taur par kuch liya aur wo thode se paise jo aaye usse Aapne ehtemam kiya 3 Roze rakhne ka. Pehla din aaya jab iftar ka waqt aaya to Jo roti banayi gayi, darwaze par ek shakhs ne aakar aawaz di Ay Ahle Bayt-e-Muhammad (SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam) mai miskin hu, bhooka hun. Sayyeda-e-Kainat RadiAllahu Ta'ala Anha ne sabse puchakar roti aur jo kuch paka tha wo uthakar saara miskin ko dediya aur Khud Paani se Roza Iftar karliya Sabne. Agle din Roza rakha, jo bacha fir wo pakaya, Iftar ka waqt hua shaam ko to ek aur sayil aagaya usne kaha mai yateem hun. Aapne saara kuch uthakar jo paka hua tha usko dediya Khud Paani se iftar karliya. Teesre din Roza rakha to fir ek sayil aagaya usne kaha mai kaidi hun Khuda ke liye mujhe kuch den bhuka hun, Aapne saara kuch usko dediya Khud Paani se Iftar karliya.
Sayyeduna Ali Sher-e-Khuda aur Sayyeda Fatima tuz-Zahra (Salamullah Alaihim) ke Chehron par bhi bhook ke asarat bilkul numaya hogaye, hatta ke Unka Pet Andar ki taraf lag gaya. Hazrat Ali RadiAllahu Ta'ala Anhu Hasanain Kareemain ko leke Aaqa SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ki Bargah me pahunche. Aap SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne Hasanain Kareemain ka Chehra dekha, Hazrat Ali ka Chehra Dekha, Uthke Ghar aaye Sayyeda Fatima tuz-Zahra ka Chehra dekha. Pucha kya majra hua, to Unhone Pura Waqiya bataya. Bus itni baat hui thi Imam Wahidi Riwayat karte hain aur Imam Fakhruddin Raazi ne Tafseer al-Kabeer me isko darj kiya hai aur Allama Zamakshari ne halanke wo mutazali hain, aur mutazila roohani baaton ko zyada manne wale nahi they, bade roshan khayal aur jadid zehan ke modernist log they mutazila aur hatey hue thode thode baaz afkar me raaste se jo mutazila they, Allama Zamakhshari mutazila aaimma me se hain magar nahaw aur tafseer ke bade Imam aur authority hain, wo bhi apni tafseer Kashhaf me riwayat karte hain, aur ye pura waqiya Hazrat Abdullah ibne Abbas RadiAllahu Anhuma ne riwayat kiya hai. To Jab Aaye Aaqa SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam Gharme aur ye Waqiya suna aur dekha ke Sayyeda Fatima tuz –Zahra ki Aankhon me bhi Siyah Halke padgaye aur Shahzadon ke halke dekhe to Aaqa SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ki Tabiyat pe bojh hua aur abhi kuch fikr aaya he tha ke Jibrael Alaihissalam Haazir hue aur arz kiya Ya RasoolAllah! Lijiye ye Surah Dahar ki Aayaten! Allah Ta'ala ne Surah Dahar ki Aayaten Tohfa Bheji hain Ahle Bayt Fatima tuz-zahra ke liye aapko Mubarak ho. Aur uske baad Surah Dahar/Insan ki ye Aayaten Tilawat ki. (Surah Dahar, Surah no 7 ki Pehla Ruku aur Khaaskar ke Aayat 8 se 10)

Hazrat JIbrael Alaihissalam ye Aayaten lekar Nazil hue aur arz kiya Ya RasoolAllah! Ye Aayaten lijiye Sayyeda Fatima tuz-Zahra aur Unke Gharane Aapki Ahle Bayt ke liye Allah ne Tohfa Bheja hai.
Un Aayat ka Maana ye hai ke "Nazr rakhte hain (yani jo Nazr rakhi thi uska zikr kiya) aur farmaya jab iftar ka waqt aata hai to Khaate nahi, apna Khana khila dete hain Allah ki Muhabbat me, kabhi miskin ko khila dete hain kabhi yateem ko khila dete hain kabhi kaidi ko khila dete hain." Is tafseer ko Hazrat Abdullah ibne Abbas RadiAllahu Anhuma ne riwayat kiya, isi ko jalilul qadr Tabeyi Hazrat Mujahid ne riwayat kiya, Sayyeduna Abdullah ibne Abbas RadiAllahu Anhuma se marvi jo Tabeyin ke zariye jo turk hain tafseer ke, Turuk-e-Arba, sabse zyada muatamad turk, un muatamad tamam turk ne is tafseer ko riwayat kiya hai. Hazrat Mujahid ne riwayat kiya, Hazrat Ata bin Abi Ribah ne riwayat kiya, digar tabeyin ne riwayat kiya aur wo farmate Ye Aayaten Ahle Bayt ke liye naazil huin, fir aage pura waqiya bayan karte hain. [Raazi, Tafseer al-Kabeer, Volume 30, Page 243]. Fir isi tafseer aur waqiya ko Salabi ne bhi Hazrat Abdullah ibne Abbas RadiAllahu Anhuma se riwayat kiya.

EK DILCHASP BAAT

Ab yahan ek dilchasp baat kehdun baaz ahle ilm hain jo is baat ka inkar karte hain ke in Aayaton ka nuzool is waqiya ke peshenazar hua. Is Shan-e-Nuzool ka inkar karte hain aur daleel unki ye hai ke ye Surah Dahar Makki Surah hai. Kehte hain waqiya to Madina ka hai aur surat hai Makki, Naazil hui Makka me, to ye Shan-e-Nuool kaise ban gaya? To zaahiran dekhkar ek aam aadmi aur thoda padha hua aalim, jab ye aitraaz sunta hai ke ye Makki Surat hai to Hasanain Kareemain kahan Paida hogaye? Maula Ali Sher-e-Khuda Alaihissalam aur Sayyeda-e-Kainat Salamullah Alaiha ki Shaadi he Madina me hui thi, Hasanain Kareemain Paida bhi Madina me hue par Surat hai Makki to ye Shan-e-Nuzool kaise ban gaya? Ek aam aadmi ghabra jata hai aur yaqeenan ilm ki kami ho to ghabrahat he hogi.
Iska jawab dena chahta hun aur ye jawab bahot aaimma-e-tafseer ne diya magar Qazi Sanaullah Panipati ko yaad rakhlen, unhone bhi Tafseer al Mazari me iska jawab diya.
Isme koi shaq nahi ke Surat Makki hai, magar yaad rakhle kisi Surat ka Makki hona ya Madni hona is baat ko laazim nahi hai ke us Surat ki koi ek Aayat ya do, char, paanch, das Aayaten bhi agar Makki Surat ho to Madina me naazil nahi hoskati ya Madni Surat ho to Makka me naazil nahi ho sakti, ye sirey se koi tasawwur Usool-e-Tafseer me nahi hai. Beshumar Suraten aisi hai jo Madni hain magar jab Aaqa SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam Makka Haj ke liye gaye to safar me Makka me naazil huin. Hatta ke Surah Maida jo Madni Surat hai aur jo aakhri Aayat naazil hui "Al-Yauma Akmaltu Lakum Deenakum wa Atmamtu Alaikum Naymati." Surah Maida 5:3
Ye Aayat Makka me naazil hui jab Hijjatul Wida farma rahe they, Makka ke Maidan-e-Arafat me naazil hui, lekin Surat hai Madni. Isi tarah kai Suraten Makki, isliye Makki kyunki unka beshtar hissa Makka me utar chuka tha, kuch Aayaten Madina ke daur me utarne se us Surat ke Makki Surat hone me koi fark nahi aata. Matlab hai ke gaalib hissa, aksar hissa is Surat ki Aaayat ka wo Makka me nazil hua. Makka se murad Makki Zindagi ke daur me nazil hua aur koi Surat Madni ho aur Makka me uski kuch Aayaten nazil hojayen to fark nahi padta, matlab ye hai ke beshtar Aayaten saari daur-e-Madni me nazil huin aur kabhi agar Makka ke safar me is Surat ki aayaten nazil hogayi to still wo Surat Madni he rehti hai. Aur Makki Surat ki kuch Aayaten Madina me naazil hoagyi to still puri Surat Makki rehti hai. Ye Usool-e-Tafseer ka Musallama qaida hai. Ye ek jawab.

Ab is par dusra jawab. Jo log is baat ka inkar karte hain ke Sayyeda Fatima tuz-Zahra aur Sayyeduna Ali Sher-e-Khuda (Salamullah Alaihim) aur Sayyeduna Imam Hasan aur Sayyeduna Imam Hussain (Alaihimussalam) ahle Bayt-e-Nabuwwat ke liye ye Shan-e-Nuzool nahi hai, jo ye khayal karte hain aur wo iski jagah Ansari Sahabi ka ek waqiya bayan karte hain ke ye ek Ansari Sahabi ka waqiya tha. Makatil ka ek qaul hai ke Ansari ek shakhs tha usne khana miskin, yatim aur aseer ko khilaya uske haq me Aayat nazil hui. Jo Ahle Bayt ke liye Shan-e-Nuzool ka inkar karte hain wo iske badle koi to Shan-e-Nuzool denge na to wo Shan-e-Nuzool Ansari Sahabi ka waqiya bayan karte hain. To ab uspar jawab deta hun! Allah ke bando! Chalo ek lamhe ke liye ahle Bayt ke liye Shan-e-Nuzool na maane, aapki baat maanle ke wo Shan-e-Nuzool hai Ansari Sahabi ka waqiya. To bataiye Ansar kab paida hue? Wo Hijrat-e-Madna se pehle Ansar kab they? Wo bhi to Hijrat-e-Madina ke baad hue, Ansar aur Muhajareen ka wujood kab aaya? Hijrat se pehle ya baadme? Makka se Hijrat karke aaye wo Muhajareen kehlaye aur Madina me unki madat karne waale Ansar kehlaye. Hijrat-e-Madina se pehle jab Huzoor Alaihissalam Makki daur me they jab ye Surat utri Makki, tab na koi Ansari tha na Muhajeer tha. Agar Ahle Bayt ki baat aajaye to aapko Makki Surat yaad aajati hai aur Shan-e-Ahle Bayt ka inkar karne me ye bhool jaate hain ke dusra waqiya jo aap lana chahte hain wo bhi Ansari Sahabi ka uska talluq bhi Madina ke daur se hai.
Aur fir ye jo teesre din kaidi aaya jisko khana khilaya ye kaidi Makki daur me to they he nahi! Kaidi to bane he Hijrat-e-Madina ke baad jab jange hui aur kaidi hokar aaye! Gazwa-e-Badr me kaidi bane, Madina ke daur me jangon ke natije me kaidi bane they, wo khana mangne aate they. Jab Quran ne kaha ke kaidi ko khana khilaya to kaidi ke lafz ne saabit kardiya ke waqiya Madina ke daur ka hai!
Lihaza fark nahi padta, do, chaar Aayaten ek Surat ki agar Madina me nazil hui to Surat Makki he rehti hai. Aur Shan-e-Nuzool wahi hai jisko kasrat ke saath Sahaba, Tabeyin aur Aaimma ne riwayat kiya.
Ab Sayyeda Fatima tuz-Zahra Salamullahi Alaiha ne miskin, yateem aur kaidi ko khana diya aur Khud faaka kiya uspar Surah ad-Dahar me Allah Rabbul Izzat ne Unka Zikr kardiya! Aur Zikr karke fir aage yahan tak nahi fir uske baad Unko kaha ke Inko Jannaten Naseeb hongi aur jis tarah Khud pyaase aur bhooke rahe, Ye Jannat me pyaason ki pyaas bujhaenge, Inko Chasme ata kiye jaenge aur Inke isharon se Jannat ke chasme chalenge, jisko pilana chahenge pilaenge! Inke itne darje ata hone!

3 din ka sirf khana kurban kiya to Allah Ta'ala ne Jannat Dedi
To 3 Din Karbala me Jo Ali Asgar, Ali Akbar diye Uska Badla Kya Kya Diya Hoga Allah Ta'ala ne!!!"

4."Wilayat 2 tarah ki hain. Ek Wilayat e Kubra yaani Badi Wilayat aur dusri Wilayat e Sugra Choti Wilayat. Jaha Wilayat e Sugra ki inteha hai wahase Wiilayat e Kubra ki Ibteda hai. Aaqa SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne Maula-e-Kainat Sayyeduna Maula Ali Sher e Khuda KarramAllahu Wajhahul Kareem ko Ghadir e Khum ke Muqaam par "Man Kuntu Maula Fa Haza Aliyyum Maula" yaani jiska Mai Maula uska Ali Maula. Aur Jiska Mai Wali uska Ali Wali. Ye Aylan Karke Sayyeduna Ali Alaihissalam ke Zariye Ummat ki Rehnumayi keliye Wilayat ka Darwaza Khola. Ye Wilayat e Kubra Thi. Yaani Imam-e-Wilayat banaya. Sayyeda-e-Kainat Salamullahi Alaiha bhi Is Muqaam par Thin. Fir Hasanain Kareemain Alaihi-Musaalam ko Ye Muqaam Hasil hua. Fir Imam Zainul Aabideen Alaihissalam Samet Purey 11 Imam is Muqaam pe Faaiz hue aur Huzoor Sarkar Gaus ul Aazam RadiAllahu Ta'ala Anhu ko bhi Ye Muqaam Ata hua isliye ab Har Wali Huzoor Sarkar Gaus e Aazam ka Gulam hai. Fir jab 12we Imam Sayyeduna Imam Muhammad Mahdi Alaihissalam ka Zahoor hoga to Aapko bhi ye Muqaam hasil hoga aur Aap par Wilayat ka Darwaza band hojayega yaani Aapke baad koi Wali nahi banega kyunki Qayamat bahot kareeb he hogi us waqt.

To Ye Muqaam Jisey Gausiyat e Kubra bhi kaha jata hai wo sirf In Hastiyo ko Nasib hua aur baaki jitne Aulia hain Sabko Wilayat e Sugra ata hui. To In Mubarak Hastiyo me Jo 6th Imam Hue Unka Naam hai Sayyeduna Imam Jafar Sadiq Alaihissalam!!

Aap Sayyeduna Imam Hussain Alaihissalam ke Pote Sayyeduna Imam Muhammad al Baqir Alaihissalam ke Shehzade Hain. Aur Aap 2 Turk se Sayyeduna Siddiq-e-Akbar RadiAllahu Ta'ala Anhu ke Nawase hain, isliye Aap Farmaya karte ke Mai Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq RadiAllahu Ta'ala Anhu Ka Dohra Beta Hun!!

Wilayat ka matlab hota hai Marifat yaani Baatini Uloom ka Ilm. To Aap sabse Unche Muqaam e Wilayat pe Faaiz They, magar Zaahiri Ilm me bhi Aap Jaisa koi na tha isliye to Saare Muhaddiseen aur Fuqaha ke Imam, jinhe Imam e Aazam kaha jata hai, Wo Imam Abu Hanifa RadiAllahu Anhu kehte hain Zindagi ke jo 2 Saal Mai Imam Muhammad Baqir aur Imam Jafar Sadiq (Alaihi-Mussalam) ke Kadmo me baitha, agar wo 2 saal meri zindagi me na hote to mai halaak hogaya hota!!

Yaani Imam Jafar Sadiq Alaihissalam ka Wo Ilmi Muqaam wa Martaba hai ke jo Unke Kadmo me baith jaaye (yaani gulami, shagirdi me aajaye) to wo "Imam-e-Aazam" hojaye!!

Ye to They Deeni Uloom, Scientific Knowledge me bhi Aapka koi Saani nahi.

Chemistry ke founder Imam Jafar Sadiq Alaihissalam Hain aur Mashoor Islamic Scientist Jabir ibne Hayyan, Aap he ke Shagird hain!! Kitabo me Aapke aur bhi Zabardast Scientific Knowledge aur Contribution ke bareme bhi aaya hai!!

To isi tarah Kitabo me aata hai ke 22 Rajjab ul Murajjab ko Allah Ta'ala ne Aapko Gausiyat-e-Kubra ke Muqaam pe Faaiz Farmaya, iske Shukrane ke Taur pe Aapne Niyaz banake logo ko Khilaya."

Imam Gazali farmate hain (Hafees-e-Pak hai ke) jiski umr 40 baras tak pahunch gayi aur wo 40 ko cross kargaya, magar uski zindagi me Khair, shar ke upar gaalib na aayi, yaani uski Khair ne shar ko control nahi kiya, uski zindagime khair ke pehlu, shar ke pehlu pe gaalib nahi aagaye, cha nahi gaye, neki badi par cha nahi gayi, ta'aat mukaraat par agar gaalib nahi aagayi, yaani zindagi ne naya rukh ikhteyar nahi karliya, aisa rukh jisme har pehlu me khair galib ho, neki gaalib ho, ta'aat gaalib ho, bhalayi gaalib ho. Agar aisa na hosaka aur 40 baras ki umr cross kargaya, to farmaya ke fir wo apni tayyari karle jahannum ki!

Aur Imam Gazali ne kaha ke jis shakhs ki ek sa'at badhi, ek ghanta guzar gaya, ek din, ek hafta guzar gaya, saal guzar gaya, to agla lamha aagaya, agla ghanta aagaya, agla din aagaya, agla hafta aagaya, magar uske Amal-e-Saaleh me izafa nahi hua, uski zindagi me khair ka izafa nahi hua, uski zindagi me Neki ka jo amount hai, Neki ki Quality hai, usme zyada izafa nahi hua, khair ka Imaan ke Noor ka Izafa nahi hua, to Imam Gazali farmate hain usne apni zindagi me hasrat badha li, usko siwaye hasrat ke kuch nasib nahi. Hasrat kya hai? nuksan aur khasara hai A'azubillahi minashshaytan nirrajim "Wal Asr! Innal Insana Lafi Khusr!" Wo khasare me chala gaya, ghaate ka sauda hai uski zindagi! Khasara he khasara hai agar zindagi khair me izafa hue bagair aage chalti rahe to khasara he khasara hai! Bus khasare se wohi log bachte hain jo Imaan bachalen, Amal-e-Saaleh bachalen, Haq keliye kaam karlen aur pareshani me sabr karle. Imaan, Amal-e-Saleh, Haq aur Sabr, in 4 chizo ka jisne samaan karliya, wohi zindagi ke khasaare aur hasrat se bach gaya! Aur jo in 4 Chzio me izafa nahi karsaka, uski zindagi ka har lamha hasrat hai aur khasara hai aur barbadi hai!"

7. HUZOOR NABI E KAREEM Sallallahu alaihi Wa aalihi wasallam jab safar ka iraada farmate to apne ahlo ayaal me sab ke baad jis se guftugu farma kar safar par tashreef lejate wo KHATOON E JANNAT HAZRATH SYEDA FATIMA Salamullah Alaiha hoti,

aur Safar se wapasi par sab se pehle jiske paas tashreef laate wo bhi KHATOON E JANNAT HAZRATH SYEDA FATIMA Salamullah Alaiha hoti.

(Sunan e Abu Dawood,Hadith no:4213)

"Huzoor ka Ism-e-Pak hai Muhammad (SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam). Jab Kainat me kuch bhi na tha to Allah Ta'ala farmata hai 'Mai Chupa Hua Khazana Tha.' (Ajolani, Kashful Khafa, Hadees No. 2016) Mujhe Chahat hui ke Mai jaana jau. To jaana jaane ki chahat hui, Wo Khazana kis Shaye ka tha? Wo makhfi Husn ka Khazana tha. Rab ne Kaha Maine Chaha ke Mere Husn ko Jaana jaaye to Maine khalq ko paida kiya. Aur Pehli Khalq Jisme Husn-e-Khuda ki Maarifat li aur Jo Uske Amr-e-Kun ka Naqshe Awwal Bana, aur Uski Chahat aur Tawajjoh ka Pehla Markaz bana, Wo Khalq-e-Awwal Mustafa Thi. So Mustafa ne Khuda ki Hamd ki, Uski Hamd hui Wo 'Mehmood' Hogaya, qki Hamd karne waali Zaat Makhlooq thi, Huzoor Alaihiswalatu was-Salaam kya hain Khaliq hain ya Makhlooq? Makhlooq hain. So Makhlooq ne Khuda ki Hamd ki Uske Husn ki Hamd ki wo Mehmood hogaya.
Us Mehmood ko Hamd karne wala itna Pyara laga ki fir Usne Uski Hamd ki! Makhlooq ne Khaliq ki Hamd ki to Wo MEHMOOD hua jab Khaliq ne Is Makhlooq ki Hamd ki to Wo MUHAMMAD Hua.
Farmaya Mehboob Parda Hamd ka hai Mai Mehmood Hun aur Tere Naam ko Apne Naam Mehmood me se nikala hai. So Naam-e-Muhammad Khuda ke Hamd ke Parde me tha, jab Wo Mehmood Hua to Us Mehmood ne Mehmood se Muhammad nikala!

To logo sunlo (Ism-e-)Muhammad ko Usne Apni Hamd ke Pardo me chupa rakha tha AUR HASAN AUR HUSSAIN YE 2 NAAM KHUDA NE APNE HUSN KE PARDE ME CHUPA RAKHE THEY.

"MUHAMMAD" ka Madda HAMD hai
aur
"HASAN" aur "HUSSAIN" ka Madda HUSN hai.

Baat sirf itni nahi ke sirf Naam Allah Ta'ala ke Husn ke Parde se liye gaye balke kaI Ahadees se pata chalta hai ke jab Qayamat kaayam hogi to Allah Ta'ala Jannat ke Husn ko bhi Hasan aur Hussain ke Husn se aarasta karega!" (InshaAllah Wo Ahadees Reference ke saath page pe share ki jayengi)
